Photograph of a political rally at Pupyong Station supporting the candidacy of Kim Dae Jung to be president of South Korea. Over 100,000 people rallied for Mr. Kim as an opposition presidential candidate in election of 1988. He lost to Roh Tae Woo, an ROK army general who became a politician. Mr. Kim and his supporters were mobbed around his motorcade, which was decorated with political campaign posters. Photograph by Nathan Benn taken September 26, 1987.
