Photograph of a farm worker or farmer carrying an autumn harvest of rice from a field in rural South Korea in Chollado, Kwangju province. The rice was gathered at dawn in a foggy morning from the rice terraces. Some of the rice is harvested by hand, and some by machine. The farmer carries the harvested rice stalks in a cradle. The agriculture is near village of Chil Dong, county of Pyung-myun. The crop this year is bountiful. Photograph by Nathan Benn taken October 10, 1987.
